Our Products and Services

Since 1984, WFC Resources (formerly Work & Family Connection) has been working to help employers create a workplace that is both supportive and effective, a workplace that ensures that your investment in employees pays off, a work environment with a dual agenda – one that meets business goals and also allows employees to meet their personal goals. Here's how we can help.

We'll help you train managers and staff . . .

Training can help managers and staff work together more effectively in a flexible environment. WFC Resources offers Web-based courses that more than 50 companies have found to be the perfect, most cost-effective solution. Your choice:

  • We'll create an e-course especially for you;
  • You can preview, choose and customize one or two of our courses for managers and staff.
  • You may buy them "as is" – just add your logo and link your policies.

The finished products can reside either on your own Intranet or on a special page on our server. Each can begin making a difference with your workforce within a few short weeks. "The Flexible Workplace" helps managers and staff understand how flexible work arrangements can create a more effective, productive workforce. "Guides to Successful Telecommuting" will ensure a smooth transition to remote work for both managers and staff. "From Stress to Resiliency" will help your staff create a healthier, more resilient workplace while reducing their personal stress levels. Click here to learn more about them or call 800-487-7898 to request a password to preview them.

We'll help you send the right message to your managers . . .

We'll help you transform your workplace . . .

We can help you conduct an internal fact-finding study that will reveal the issues that keep your workforce from maximizing its potential, a study that will include interviews with top management and Human Resource staff to learn more about their concerns. We'll help you conduct focus groups and an employee survey to find out what your employees need in order to be committed to the company and engaged in its mission. Our dependent care needs assessment and Human Capital survey has been tested and developed over the years with the help of a score of Fortune 500 companies.

We'll work with you to analyze results, make recommendations, and provide you with a clear path for action and a strong business case. Then we'll help you prepare your case to present to your executives.

The Eleven Steps explains the process . . .

WFC Resources' book, "The Eleven Essential Steps to Designing a Successful Work-Life Program," is a 179-page, comprehensive manual for the work-life champion. It begins with instructions for forming a work-life task force (including how to get buy-in for doing so) and offers agendas for each task force meeting. There's a complete climate survey and instructions for reporting results, tips for conducting both management interviews and focus groups, and key questions for both. There's a chapter on gathering benchmarking data and one on investigating community resources. And there are suggestions for creating potential solutions to the issues you uncover.

The book includes help in organizing and presenting the information you gather, and the most important studies of the decade to help you make the business case that will justify your recommendations. Click here to learn more and order.
